Canonical page: [Claim your name](https://dvidia.org/claim)

## Your name. Your starting point.

Choose a personal username. Availability is checked automatically against the public registry after you pause typing. An available result is advisory: it does not hold or claim the name.

The signup flow opens as a dialog from ordinary site links; this page also works as a direct entry. A claim requires email verification and a successful authenticated write. Public availability is enabled. Email verification and authenticated claims follow the current service configuration. The interface checks it before enabling account actions.

New personal handles of at least 5 characters are free. Handles of 1–4 characters are reserved for premium claiming, which is not open. Existing owned handles remain protected. Buying a storage subscription does not currently let you claim a premium name. Account plans provide the storage and Skillspace allowances shown at checkout when billing and storage enable an offer. A workspace does not grant ownership of an everyday action or exclusive rights to open releases.

Build your contribution history. DVIDIA rewards are planned, not live. Future funded requests will show rewards and review criteria before recording. Claiming a handle does not submit a reward claim or earn tokens; no premium purchase will be required to contribute.

Choose an available sign-in method after checking your handle. X sign-in preserves your selected name; the name is yours only after the server confirms your claim. Google sign-in is not enabled. Verification does not subscribe you to marketing or upload recordings. [Read the privacy policy](https://dvidia.org/privacy).
