## Add a video

Choose an MP4, MOV or WebM video showing one task from start to finish. The limit is three minutes and 100 MiB. Selecting a file previews it on your device; nothing is sent automatically.

When the video service is connected, explicitly confirm permission to send a private copy for analysis. The existing server uses SigLIP2 to suggest an activity from sampled frames and separate measured checks for technical capture quality. These are unreviewed suggestions, not a rating of workmanship, proof of task completion or a trained robot skill. Analysis remains unavailable when the server connection is not configured.

Uploads and analysis results expire within 24 hours. A private receipt lets the same browser tab retrieve the result or remove the server copy earlier. Upload permission does not grant public release permission. Keep the original video on your device and save the analysis report separately.

### Hand + object. Whole action. Clear result.

One hand or two: a phone is enough. Show the starting position, keep the hand-object contact visible through the movement, and pause on the result. For a one-handed task, hold the phone in your free hand if comfortable. For two-handed tasks, prop it securely or use a mount. Step back for larger movements; choose another angle only when it reveals interaction that would otherwise be hidden.

### Upload or record

[Record video](https://dvidia.org/record?mode=camera) opens a fresh camera session. Stop saves the original locally and opens the same replay and private-analysis controls used for an uploaded file. No second review page is required. An exact saved skillspace brief is confirmed once and retains its separate local contribution permission.

An optional on-device hand-framing check draws colored palms and detected finger joints. Choose one or two working hands. The check does not block recording, and unavailable detection is not a failed demonstration. The overlay pauses while recording and is not burned into the original. This is estimated hand framing, not body tracking, calibrated 3D pose, force sensing or proof of quality.

One camera records silent video for up to three minutes on supported browsers. Camera use requires permission and a secure context. Camera recordings are saved in this browser; download the original to keep a backup. They are not automatically sent for analysis.

A linked recording keeps its chosen task and brief revision. An unavailable revision must be selected again; it is not silently replaced. Recording does not publish a skill, purchase a workspace or create earnings. Remote pairing remains unavailable.
